Mirek is a Legal Assistant and affiliate member of Charter Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX). Mirek assists and runs personal injury cases and employment law cases in conjunction with Truth Legal’s Solicitors.
His native language is Polish and he is fluent in English. Mirek has been providing legal advice for the Polish community since 2008.
Mirek joined Truth Legal in 2014, rapidly gaining experience in all areas of personal injury and industrial disease claims, including: accidents at work claims, road traffic accidents claims, Noise-Induced Hearing Loss claims and occupational asthma claims.
Additionally, Mirek is experienced in employment law, having worked on many Employment Tribunal cases. Prior to working at Truth Legal, Mirek worked for trade union members. Since joining Truth Legal Mirek has gained more experience in: unfair dismissal cases, wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, unlawful deduction of wages, discrimination at work, employment contracts, running ACAS negotiations, settlements agreements, and other areas of the employment law.
Mirek has been living in the UK since 2002. Mirek has worked in various industries. Some of his previous jobs were: builder, kitchen chef, painter and decorator, travel agent, insurance broker, electrician’s mate, mobile phones repair engineer, warehouse operative, trade union rep, English teacher, amongst other varied jobs. All this experience allows Mirek to understand our clients’ jobs.
Mirek is engaged and lives with his fiancée and son in Wakefield. Mirek enjoys studying/reading social sciences (philosophy, history, law, economics, politics). Currently there are two topics which are of particular interest to him: universal income for all members of society; and developing and studying memory improvement systems/techniques. Mirek also enjoys sports and thinks that physical development is equally important as mental development. Mirek enjoys cooking wherever he can (Italian and now Japanese kitchen is on his menu and of course homemade fish & chips).
