Tim Robinson

Tim Robinson is a senior solicitor in the personal injury department. He started with Truth Legal in November 2021 having previously worked in London Hertfordshire where he used to live.

Tim has a degree in philosophy from Birkbeck college London university, and transferred to law via the legal practice course at Nottingham.

Tim qualified with a trade union firm Pattinson & Brewer in London in 1996 and later worked for Underwoods under Kerry Underwood, and Knowles Benning in Bedfordshire before later moving to Gisby Harrison in Hertfordshire to pursue contentious probate and civil litigation, then moving north in 2021.

Tim has broad experience in personal injury work representing claimants, including claims arising from workplace accidents, slips and trips on pavements and other public spaces such as shops and supermarkets; also road traffic accident claims, and fatal claims. He also has experience in pursuing claims for children and claimants under a disability, and claims to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

Tim has also worked in other areas of civil litigation, including contentious probate, boundary disputes, contract disputes, consumer matters etc.

He has wide experience in most aspects of dispute resolution including pursuing claims from the start through to hearings in both the County Court and High Court, and settlement negotiations and engaging in mediation.

Tim puts a focus on clear and concise communication with clients, to ensure they understand what is happening at all times, and are never baffled by legal jargon.
