£16,000 compensation for young man involved in workplace crushed finger injury

Mickey* was working on a production line in a factory dealing with steel bars. He was relatively new to the job. One morning a steel roller crushed the middle finger of Mickey’s left hand. He was in immediate pain and was rushed to hospital.
