Tracey* was sat in a disabled seat on a bus where there was no seat belt or bars to stop her from falling. She understands that the responsible driver pulled out in front of the bus forcing the bus driver to slam on his brakes. As the bus halted suddenly, Tracey fell off her seat onto the floor.

Tracey suffered injuries to her neck, worsened lower back issues due to a pre-existing condition, a soft tissue injury and severe bruising to her left arm, and soft tissue injuries to her knees and right thigh. Tracey also suffered from psychological injuries including severe situational anxiety disorder of travel and moderate post-traumatic stress disorder.

After the accident Tracey came to Truth Legal seeking compensation. The personal injury team at Truth Legal promptly made contact with the bus company for the Defendant driver’s details and were able to get an early admission from the responsible driver’s insurers.

Lucy Culpin compiled medical evidence and gathered Tracey’s financial losses before successfully negotiating a settlement of £20,000 for her client.

If you have suffered in an accident involving a bus or coach, and you think someone else may have been at fault, Truth Legal may be able to help you recover compensation.
