Katherine is a litigation and employment solicitor who assists both individuals and businesses with a wide variety of disputes and/or employment matters.

She has over 10 years experience as a litigation solicitor and joined Truth Legal as a Consultant Solicitor in October 2018.

Katherine is from Harrogate and has always lived locally.  Combined with working at Harrogate County Court as an Administrative Officer, she studied law with the Open University and passed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.  Her 10 years experience in the Court Service provided Katherine with valuable experience of dealing with the law “from the other side” and of gaining extensive customer service skills.

Having joined Hutchinson & Buchanan, the longest established high street firm in Ripon, originally as a Paralegal, Katherine was soon awarded a training contract.  She qualified as a Solicitor with the firm and worked there for over 10 years’ as a general practitioner.  More recently, Katherine joined Watson Woodhouse in Harrogate as a general practitioner Solicitor.

Throughout her career, she has advised on a wide and varied range of litigation matters, supporting individuals and businesses both locally and further afield.  Katherine also has experience of dealing with a range of employment law issues.  She is also an experienced advocate in attending County Court hearings.

Katherine quickly seeks to establish a rapport for you and to advise on the appropriate way forward. She is friendly and provides support, understanding and compassion.  Furthermore, her in depth knowledge of County Court procedures and unique experience as a General Practitioner, who is used to dealing with a wide variety of matters, means that she is able to provide to provide a bespoke service tailored to you and to meet your needs.
